At A Glance, June

A gathering of what I find notable for the month.

Sézane sneakers can go the distance with dresses, jeans, shorts.
Colorful Jewelry. You choose how to thread Carolina Bucci’s colorful hard beads on the gunmetal lurex cord.
TikTok is not just for middle schoolers and dancing. I have learned recipes and life hacks, how to spot a narcissist, and watched countless cute animals and babies. It is fascinating! I love it.
Carolina Herrera. This is a great three season tote. I would lose the CH logo charms and keep the tassels. Which leads me to my next notable activity…
De-badging my accessories. I have some well designed accessories that have loud gold or silver tone logo charms embedded into the bags. With careful seam ripping and some needlework, I remove the logo tags. It can leave tiny holes–but they are barely noticeable. I am not against designers tagging their work but can often cloud the piece’s good looks.
Watch The Komisky Method. If you can’t hear about the ailments of the aging–stay away. But if you can, this is a show that is well written, funny, and has great performances by stellar actors.
No polish hands. I can’t believe it took until I am 56 years old to have healthy nails. All of the splitting and peeling of my youth have resolved over the last year. I will never say never, but for now, bare nails are my chic option.
We are all getting back out in the world. I am available for in person and virtual wardrobe edits, packing sessions for travel as well as outfit styling. Please visit the Harrowstyle Services page of this blog for more information.
Bread wrap alternatives. The eggs wraps are from Costco, the Jicama wraps are from Trader Joes.
Ralph Lauren Polo white sweater.
