It’s not like I have any interest in going on an actual safari although I know that it is currently a very popular vacation. But when I see a safari jacket, khaki shirt or a beige cargo skirt or shorts, I get that little “I love it” jolt. One day I  was wearing a J. Crew khaki short sleeved blouse and was met with a loving gibe that I was looking more zoo keeper than safari chic. This hasn’t stopped me from trying to get it right, but I kind of see that point.
